2016 Market Manager Certificate Program Registration

The Market Manager Certificate Program is a voluntary program designed to encourage farmers market managers to pursue leadership skills and professional development in topics essential to market management. Market managers will be recognized with a certificate upon completion of the full program. This certificate offers acknowledgement to market organizers and vendors that the market manager is a trained professional. 

The 2016 Market Manager Certificate Program will consist of three in-person sessions and seven webinars.

  • In Person: Saturday, January 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST
  • In Person: Saturday, February 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST
  • Webinars: Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. EST from Monday, January 25 through Monday, February 15.
  • In Person: Saturday, February 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST

The 2016 Market Manager Certificate Program (MMCP) is open to participants in Michigan (please log in to the MIFMA Member Portal as the entity with the active membership - usually the farmers market - to register and receive the MIFMA member discount), to current members of the Illinois Farmers Market Association and to members of the Farmers Market Coalition (outside of Michigan and Illinois).
